Process Book& Artistic Statement

Artistic Statement:

My process book is based on two of my philosophies that are everything happens for a reason and that everyone should use their strengths to inspire others. In this case people with wealth or that are famous.My process book tells a journey of my life past, present and future.

Past: The native american, camels, four leave clovers and the Nigerian flag represents my ethnicity that I was born with. The hand holding me up shows the support of my family. Lastly, the kooky image of Bugs Bunny represents my childhood ignorance.

Present: The image on the left is Tyra Banks. I admire her because of her obstacles she had to overcome through out the years. The X next to it represents my insecurities that I have about myself. In front of the X is a image of a little girl transforming into a woman. It shows me transforming mentally and physically. In the middle I placed a quote that says "Soldier On, Keep your heart close to the ground"- Temper Trap. It's one of my favorite quotes and songs because to me it shows to be strong when things get though but to as well be calm and enjoy yourself. I have the image of Martin Luther King because he used his power to help and influence others in a peaceful manner.

Future: In the future I placed outer space to be the main focus because my future can go anywhere, but yet I believe that everything happens for a reason.The three heads represents me wanting to help out humans with mental health(psychology) or just any form of help. The arrow pointing out to the right represents me possibly wanting to be in the entertainment business. Specifically Modeling.

After-Life: For this part of my process book I only placed the stairs to heaven and the gate to heaven because what's inside of heaven is very unclear since everyone has their own personal thoughts of what it would look like The hands represnt unity.Unity with friends and family in heaven. Hell, I made that part to be very clear.
