What is Media Studies?

The Integrated Media Studies classes are mandatory, trimester, non-elective courses, grades 9-11 that are integrated into the cultural history curriculum. In all the Media Studies courses, students learn to deconstruct and construct media via collaborative and individual projects and activities, production, discussion, and written reflection. This is a double-period class.

Joe Ando-Hirsh

Since my philosophy is heavily based around my want for success and to achieve goals, a number of things on my collage apply to that area. The black cut up pieces of paper which i had used as the road are from an article with job ideas and possible ideas for careers to show that i would like to do what i want to do when i'm older and to be happy with where i am. The school in the middle of the road with the evolution men surrounding it is to symbolize that a large part of my life revolves around school and school is a somewhat obstacle or road block for me to get where i want too. If you look closely in the back round, you'll notice that there are several roads coming off of the main road where i placed the school as a road block which are to symbolize that their are many different routes you can take in life, some that have bad outcomes, some that don't. That's why i placed a sun at the end of one road specifically to show that, that's the specific route i want to take. On each road you can see that there are road black signs to show that no matter what route you want to take, even if its\'s the easy one, theres still things you need to do to accomplish your personal goal, no matter what it is.
