What is Media Studies?

The Integrated Media Studies classes are mandatory, trimester, non-elective courses, grades 9-11 that are integrated into the cultural history curriculum. In all the Media Studies courses, students learn to deconstruct and construct media via collaborative and individual projects and activities, production, discussion, and written reflection. This is a double-period class.

Wen's self portrait

I’m always thinking, think about life, think about philosophy, think about politics, and think about myself. So many ideas pop out from my head everyday, so many thoughts and comments I really want to say. But life is not what you want to be. Sometimes I just can’t find a good person to talk about the ideas that are hidden in my head. As time goes by, thoughts accumulate to burden, and there is still no way to let them spill. I felt distressed and confused, but my thinking never stops. That is why I just walked around and lying everywhere even up side down. Because it makes me feel depression and want to release my spirit. I think many people might have this experience before, but thinking is a good thing. Try to be a thinker is much better than to be a person has no brain. So live longer, think more, and express your ideas.
