Religion is purely personal and should not be used in politics or to control other people. Everyone has different beliefs and it would be difficult to fit them together. I understand that a big part of religion is telling others to believe, but no one should be allowed to use force. It’s the twenty first century and religious violence will not get us anywhere. I personally believe in science because things can be proven to be true through empirical data and there’s no error through interpretation. I also believe in beauty, which is not a scientific truth, but something you feel to be true. To me, a baseball hit 400 feet and the menacing fascia of a Lamborgini are truly beautiful. I would never try to force anyone else to believe in science or beauty, but would welcome it.
