I believe that everyone should work for their own self-interest. Every human wants to work in their own self-interest, but the people around us in society are preaching to us al the time about how we should be charitable, and help others in starving countries. The United States sends 20 billion dollars a year in food to countries in need. We send food to countries that are deserts. Then the country’s people live and reproduce. In the end the country will have more people than it will be able to sustain and the only way we can they can keep that population alive is if we keep sending them food. I think we should stop being so charitable, just for our image.
